Guests at Nexans' event dedicated to electrification and innovation

On October 17, 2024, Nexans hosted a major immersive event dedicated to electrification and innovation at the Atelier des Lumières. During an exclusive evening in the heart of a unique, immersive venue, Nexans teams welcomed 160 guests including power utilities, distributor partners, major installers, institutional guests and Nexans employees.

An exceptional moment to celebrate our shared commitments, and a unique opportunity to discover Nexans’ innovations for a safer, more sustainable electrification.

For an electrified future. Together.

An experimental and sensory journey with 3 highlights

Immersion and exploration

Sustainable and circular innovation, or how Nexans contributes to reducing its customers’ carbon footprint, reduces its own and recycles materials for a more sustainable future.

Simplified installation, with fast, intuitive installation solutions designed to make installers’ work easier.

  • EASYJOINT: an eco-designed cold shrink joint with integrated electrode and sealing mastic that simplifies and secures operations for greater network reliability, scheduled for launch in 2025.
  • MOBIWAY POP: spotlight on an innovation that will be pre-launched on November 4 in France: a unique solution for pulling electrical wires to facilitate residential worksites.

Fire safety: major advances to protect people and infrastructures against electrical hazards.

Strategic conference

Guillaume Teixeira, President of Nexans France, and Elyette Roux, Vice President Power Distribution, led an inspiring plenary session on the challenges of electrification and the recipes for supporting the needs of France’s energy transition, confirming the leading position of the Nexans brand on the French market.

They were then joined by Enedis, Rexel, Eiffage and Sonepar to share their insights on the challenges facing our industry.

Projection at the Atelier des Lumières

Guests were then treated to an immersive projection at the Atelier des Lumières. An unforgettable visual experience, a plunge into an artistic and technological universe… The “Journey” experience: when matter is sublimated by light, when electricity connects us to our future.

What if, TOGETHER, we made this electrification simpler to install, less costly to renew, more reliable to operate because it’s more digital, less impactful on our environment, safer for those who install, use and produce it…

Elyette Roux

Vice President Power Distribution, Nexans

Every year, more than 50,000 electricians connect more than 1 billion last meters of low-voltage cable to our domestic, professional or event uses. I’d like to take this opportunity to share our teams’ pride in having helped electrify the most beautiful Olympic Games in history here in Paris a few months ago.

Guillaume Teixeira

President, Nexans France

A convivial moment in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, rich in exchanges and sharing.

What do we expect from a partner like Nexans? Investments – machines and plants, skilled employees, good quality cables with minimal impact on the environment, over the entire product life cycle.

Pierre Pramayon

Industrial Policy Mission Manager, ENEDIS

We support our installers and end-customers in the new uses of electrification thanks to the specialization of our teams, to innovation and proximity – and we find ourselves with Nexans on this ability to provide solutions.

Grégoire Morineaux

Director of Strategy, ESG and Purchasing, REXEL

Today, we can’t imagine buying a product without knowing its price. Tomorrow, we won’t be able to imagine buying a product without knowing its carbon footprint. That’s why we’ve launched BlueOn, the first marketplace with environmental data, and I’d like to thank Nexans for being one of the first partners to follow us in this approach.

Nicolas Rigot

Purchasing Director, EIFFAGE

How does a major manufacturer like Nexans contribute to improving competitiveness? It all boils down to one word: innovation. Product innovation, digital solutions and data quality, circularity – CableLoop is a perfect example. If we can combine your innovations with our range of services, our customers should be able to improve their productivity and save not minutes, but days throughout the year.

Olivier Cianelli

Senior Vice President Commerce, SONEPAR
